Swing 'n' Sway
02:53
|
|||
I can swing 'n' sway, if I want to
I can swing 'n' sway it all day
And I can sing it away, if I want to
Even if it's not hip today
No, no fashion
No, no fashion at all
Will be only to thrill me
When I hear the call
'Cause if I want to
I can swing 'n' sway, if I want to
I can swing 'n' sway it all day
Don't need to be a star
Banging on the door
Don't need to go as far
As to be another poor whore
I'll sing anyway
I can swing 'n' sway, if I want to
I can swing 'n' sway it all day
Don't need to be a star
Banging on the door
Don't need to go as far
As to be another poor whore
I'll sing anyway
I can swing 'n' sway, if I want to
I can swing 'n' sway it all day
And I can sing it away, if I want to
Even if it's not hip today
Do you need Albert Hall?
No, not at all
Is it to small?
No, I'll sing anyway
I can swing 'n' sway, if I want to
I can swing 'n' sway it all day
And I can sing it away, if I want to
Even if it's not hip today

Annie
03:25
|
|||
Where is Annie today?
We haven't heard a single word
Since she ran away
Where is Annie today?
Where is Annie today?
She left for stardom
Now she's part of the Milky Way
Where is Annie today?
Annie can you hear me
We can see things now quite clearly
We know you only make it somehow
So, don't you think it is time to come home now
Where is my Annie today?
She left a million questions and
More bills to pay
Where is Annie today
Annie can you hear me
We can see things now quite clearly
We know you only make it somehow
So, don't you think it is time to come home now
Please Annie, honey
We want you back today
Please forget the money
We never thought to see any back anyway
Here is Annie today!
She owns Picassos and a fire place Monet
Oh, Annie, what can I say?
Annie can you hear me
We can see things now quite clearly
We know you made it big somehow
So, don't you think it is time to come home now
Please Annie, honey
We want you back today
Please forget the money
We never thought to see any back anyway

Far From The World
03:07
|
|||
Gone, you’re gone
And yet close to me
Nevertheless I can see what I don’t want to see
Late, too late
For us to change
This time the life saving shore seems so way out of range
Suddenly,
We both live endlessly
Far from the world that we
Once had in mind
Plans, no plans
Not anymore
All that I ever planed for turned into a great sore
Suddenly,
We both live endlessly
Far from the world that we
Once had in mind
Far from the world that we
Once had in mind
Far from the world, far from what we had in mind

Pride Of The Parade
03:18
|
|||
He rode a bicycle made for girls
Wearing a dress made of pink yarn and pearls
Quite a defiant bike for such a giant like he was
In any way he had looked like a queer
But then again, it was never quite clear
He always left some doubt
When people talked aloud
Whether he knew what all this talk was about
They called him: "Pride Of The Parade"
He was a sight that could persuade
People around that he was definitely the town clown
When you say: "Don't judge a book by its cover!"
Think of yourself just as well as the other
Some might have shook their head
Called him a crook or mad
But everyone looked amused and said:
He is the "Pride Of The Parade"
He is a sight that could persuade
People around that he was definitely the town clown
"Pride Of The Parade"
They thought this sight could never fade away
Not until he died some day
They found out it was right to say
That he was the missing pride of their home town
But definitely not its clown

A Girl Named Boo
01:50
|
|||
I took my chances
And had romances
But I never met a girl like you,
You do!
Come on, everyone
And take a good look at the girl named Boo
She is so pretty
And god, she's witty
Yeah, I wish there was more girls like you,
You do!
Come on, everyone
And take a good look at the girl named Boo
She's been lonely for such a long time
But now she says she is fine
Smiles at me with a touch of sunshine
That makes me wanna make her mine
I took my chances
And had romances
But I never met a girl like you,
You do!
Come on, everyone
And take a good look at the girl named Boo

Someone Like You
04:18
|
|||
You always care
You're so aware of the day I'm in need
I can count on you
You always knew what to say against defeat
Someone like you
Gives me the reason to go on and see it all through
Someone like you
Should be the raw model for a marble statue
Someone like you
Makes a brighter day and the stars shine, too
I hope one day
I can repay it the way you helped me
You can ease the pain
You drive the rain away, away from me
Someone like you
Gives me the reason to go on and see it all through
Someone like you
Should be the raw model for a marble statue
Someone like you
Makes a brighter day and the stars shine, too
Now it's easy to see
What you really mean to me
I always knew
Defining a friend is a talk about you
Someone like you
Makes a brighter day and the stars shine, too

Always Has To Be Me
03:04
|
|||
Casual conversation
Is no temptation
For anybody like me
Bound to say the wrong thing
I feel a strong sting
Making a chat unlikely
Here's what I could say
Thinking in a simple way
Tell me, how's your girlfriend
She's not my girlfriend
I'm glad to hear about that
Damn, she screwed around then
She's now my wife, man
It was before you two met
Gee, already late
I need to go to keep a date
Always has to be me
Who puts his feet in it, naturally
Girl, it's good to see you
I'm filled with glee, too
And evidently much more
Hope the baby ain't late
I only gained weight
I help myself to the door
There' s another slip
That surely could descend my lip
Always has to be me
Who puts his feet in it, naturally

Northern Song
03:04
|
|||
On a Friday morning Mr. Grant-Davis went to the police
He said: "Yesterday somebody stole two hub caps!" (From his Rolls Royce)
He said, the thief must have stolen them at Bush Road Garage before
He returned from making a call in a telephone booth
And the policeman said: "Well, how about that? Isn't that sad?"
It's been quite a few years since anyone had the chance
To see the one and only Danni A. dance (On her web cam)
And those who have were the members of an exclusive club
Well, let me tell you, now the rules have changed
And the members said: "Well, how about that? Isn't that sad?"
A maid-servant living on her own in a house nearby
Had gone upstairs to prepare for bed at eleven o'clock (Good night, sleep well)
As she sight and looked out of the window from her window sill
The young girl fell into some sort of dreamy state
And she softly said: "Well, how about that? Isn't that so sad?"
Isn't it all along
Stuff for a Northern Song
Isn't it all along
Stuff for another Northern Song

Fragments Of Your Past
02:54
|
|||
Nothing equals all this pain
When trying hard and knowing it’s in vain
Nothing’s more insane
Don’t know how it came to this
But suddenly, you sealed it with a kiss
Now, what did I miss
Why did this kiss miss me
Tell me what you see
When you look at me
Someone who will last
Or fragments of your past
Is it true that in the end
I only lost an unimportant friend
Is that all it meant
What a false and bitter pill
When you were claiming that you love me still
Now, that is so ill
Knowing this will kill me
Tell me what you see
When you look at me
Someone who will last
Or fragments of your past

Calibre 45
03:03
|
|||
I got several things
On my mind
But there is only this one love
That I allow soaking up my time
I got several guns
Here at home
But the dearest one of all
Has almost nine inches length overall
I got a forty-five
A calibre 45
Stainless steel in blue
With a warm muzzle pointing at you
I got it not to kill
And not to do harm
And as useless as it is
I got the right keep and bear my arms
I got a Peacemaker
Making peace
I got an AK-47
That can blow up your mind to heaven
I got a forty-five
A calibre 45
Stainless steel in blue
With a warm muzzle pointing at you
I got a forty-five
A calibre 45
God save the NRA
And Mr. Heston
You are okay
I got a forty-five
A calibre 45
And I can have more calibre than
Dirty Harry Callahan

Cadence
00:42
|
|||
I owe this tune to this nice dream I had one night
It was not long before my dear grandmother had died
She used to smile at all the songs that I would write
But I think this is something she really would have liked
I have no clue of where you are or what you do
But I hope you can hear this there, too
And this cadence is only for you

Right Place, Wrong Time
03:00
|
|||
I tried to call you on the phone
But it only told me that you wasn't home
And everytime I try again
There's the same stupid message in the end
You're ringing up the right place, but the wrong time
You can leave a message right behind the chime!
Now what am I supposed to do
When it looks as if it never puts me through
I tried and tried for quite some time
It's still refusing to record a single line
You're ringing up the right place, but the wrong time
You can leave a message right behind the chime!
It is not the machine that I revail
It is only that I wish you had a mobile
You're ringing up the right place, but the wrong time
You can leave a message right behind the chime!
This is it, I will not try anymore
Since I saw you walking home, which is next door

Erk Berlin, Germany
„Erk? That’s not a name, that's a sound!“
This is what everybody told Erk Wiemer wherever he
travelled. So if people thought of his name as a sound – why not put a soundtrack to the person behind? So he did!
“Piano, bass and drums – I don’t think I really need any other instruments!” said Erk when he started back in 2003. Since then he has evolved his sound and music, but still keeps it simple!
